Dynasty Wallcoverings was born from many years’ experience from both designing for wallpaper companies and also being a freelance designer by its founder, Mark Forrest and is currently backed up by a passionate and dedicated team.

Mark says:

“Wallcoverings are my great passion. An odd thing to say you may think but wallpaper and wallcoverings have been a major part of my life since the age of 15 when I left school to become a trainee wallpaper designer with Paragon Wallcoverings, in deepest, darkest Lancashire where the wallpaper industry is steeped in history, seemingly a lifetime ago!

I served what was then an ‘apprenticeship’ at the factory, working in the design studio by day and practicing art & design and general drawing and painting at night-school in the evening, for 5 years. I loved every minute! Over the years, if I wasn’t working in a design studio for someone then I would be selling my designs from a freelance perspective.

My last employed position was at Forbo Wallcoverings where I was head of European Markets. Once the decorative arm of Forbo closed, I ran my own design company which has now evolved into Dynasty Wallcoverings and where we have been happily creating and producing wallcoverings of all description for almost six years now.”

Technology is ever changing but even with the tremendous scope of digital printing these days Dynasty Wallcoverings still can provide traditionally printed wallpaper which can offer a much better value once a certain quantity is required.

“Though we can still produce all mediums, murals in panels, and rolls of different lengths and sizes for example, what we are concentrating on is our seamless murals. All our designs for our Care Home range of wallcoverings, called Aware, can now be produced as seamless murals and we are very excited about this” he says. seamless-wall-design-from-dynasty-wallcoverings 

As well as their own brands Dynasty Wallcoverings curate full design collections for clients and/or one-off wallcoverings for bespoke interior projects such as boutique hotels, bars and restaurants, educational, leisure and healthcare markets. They have clients worldwide with currently ongoing projects in the USA, the Mediterranean countries, the UAE and the Far East, further establishing their growing reputation as a quality producing design and wallcovering company.
